Sentosa

One of the main tourist destinations in Singapore is SENTOSA Island. Sentosa is a resort theme park where there are also different attractions to see (see our previous postings).

But one of them that we really enjoyed experiencing was the LUGE. It involves riding downhill; lying on your back on a wheeled contraption (the luge) which is just like a large skateboard. You also get to ride on a lift (actually a chair built for two suspended on cables).

Photos of you taken while enjoying the luge may be purchased (or emailed to you for a price) to capture the adventure.

Don't forget also to take photos of the huge MERLION on the Island.

The Park(s) in Sentosa

Its just great to take a leisurely stroll around Sentosa. There are lots of trees; shades and picture views to take. When you do get tired or lost; just take one of the the shuttle buses inside and head to an attraction. Enjoy it and then figure out where you want to go next.

Dolphin Lagoon in Sentosa

We were not able to get a lot of photos of the dolphins in the Dolphin lagoon. It was so hot when the scheduled show started, there were many people and the audience were quite far from the pool area. Luckily, the pictures we got (and the show itself) in Ocean Adventure Park in Subic were better. (Please see our previous postings - December 2007).
