Camiguin White Island

The White Island in Camiguin is a must-see. It is relatively just a sandbar of beautiful white sand lying just off the shore. You can see more of it during low tide.
A boat ride in the early morning is best. (You have to contact the locals to schedule it and to haggle the price). Since White Island is purely sand; there are no trees or structures where one can get cover from the sun. This is what its supposed to be. Preserve nature as it is. Just bring your towels, sunblock or umbrella. Take just pictures and dont' leave anything but footprints.
The ride itself in the motorized banca is a short one. The boat men navigates the boat across the corals which might snag the boats on low tides. Usually, after bringing the visitors to the island, they again leave; so just schedule for them to get you back. A couple of hours of sightseeing and sunbathing was really wonderful (until the sun got too hot).
